As you all know we set up a just giving page for Glenys from Ely after some scum broke into her house and stole her life savings. we have now closed the page and raised £245 , a small sum considering the people she knew but she was overwhelmed by peoples generosity , I have withdrew the cash and "just giving " took their share leaving us £229.00 ,we bought her a bunch of flowers from bettys and gave her the remainder cash of £200 .she would like to thank every single one of you who contributed she was very touched.. thankyou all.

hi folks , just an update on how the collection is going for glenys , todate we have raised £245 , once just giving has deducted their fees it leaves roughtly £240 . I have today taken out the funds and will be shortly arranging with the family the handover of the raised funds, I, will also put in a bunch of flowers and a card and will include the names of everyone that contributed unless you would like to remain anon , just let me know , once again thankyou ,you people certainly have that community spirit that we all hope is still there
