Weʼve raised £4,015 to buy aid for Ukrainian refugees at children's centres in Romania

Story
Thousands of children have been displaced across Europe as a result of the war in Ukraine.Many have crossed the border into Romania and many have disabilities.The Star of hope foundation in Siret have opened 13 centres to accommodate, feed, clothe, educate and council them but they desperately need help.
The Royal Grammar school children, parents and staff have raised money to send 3 members of staff to the Ukraine border, PJ Nicholls Ssanyong have very genourously provided a vehicle and on Monday 25th April we set off on a 3500 mile round trip to deliver aid and assistance at the centres.
Any money raised will help purchase additional items the centres desperately need to help these children.

2 years agoHi all, as we are now in the process of spending the donations please don't make any further contributions.Any additional funds raised after this time will be redirected to an appropriate supporting supporting charity.

2 years agoHeading Into Hungary after an 1100 km drive from the Belgium/ Germany border, should be just south of the Ukraine border tomorrow in Romania.Cant wait to meet the fab people at the Star of Hope centres at the border and start spending your amazing donations!
