Story
After Esprit Gymnastics' Junior Rhythmic Groups' medal successes at the 2016 British Championships, Scottish Championships, Welsh Invitational, the Elite Group League, and also ranking 1st at GB control in November, Esprit Junior Group have been selected to represent GB at both Miss Valentine, in Estonia and The Aphrodite Cup, in Greece. These competitions are part of the selection process for the European Championships that will take place in Budapest in May 2017.
This requires a huge amount of dedication from both the girls and their coach, who train for up to 20 hours a week. All of these girls have to juggle their training around their studies, giving them very little social time. Unfortunately, Rhythmic Gymnastics receives no funding in the UK and, therefore, these competitions are self - funded. The cost to each girl for competing at both of these competitions is over £1000. This includes their travel, accommodation and competition fees. This is in addition to what they already pay for training, competing nationally, equipment and their competition skirties.
We are looking, therefore, for help to raise £5000 towards these costs to allow these girls to realise their dream of being selected to represent GB in the European Championships.

7 years agoA massive thank you for your continued support. The group have just returned from their first European Championships qualification competition in Estonia. They had an amazing time. They were pleased with their performance but now have work to do to improve it for their next competition in Athens at the end of March. Thank you to all of you who, through your donations, are making their dream possible.
