    Story

I am a Founder of Paws and Whiskers Sussex - Cat and Dog Rescue. Since starting our rescue in January 2021 we have helped many cats and dogs in need to find their forever homes.

We are very passionate about animal welfare - we have collected money for spay and neuter campaigns in Romania to reduce the numbers of stray cats and dogs. We also have an open petition to introduce tighter laws for dog breeders in the U.K. There are many other animals that need our help.

To raise money for our rescue I will cycle roughly 1,000 miles by myself Unsupported from John O' Groats to Lands End. I aim to complete the ride within ten days. Any donations will be very much appreciated.

As well as raising money for the rescue i will also be raising money for 2 other amazing charities.

All donations will be split between the 3 causes as follows 50% to Paws and Whiskers Rescue, 25% to harlequins Foundation and 25% to My Name'5 Doddie.

Being a huge rugby and Quins fan these 2 charities are close to my heart.

Harlequins Foundation https://www.harlequins.foundation/what-we-do/ do amazing work in the community using inspirational, sustainable and transformative solutions to tackle inequality, poor health and the challenges faced by the most vulnerable in society. They use education, skills development and entrepreneurship.

My Name'5 Doddie https://www.myname5doddie.co.uk/ supports families with Motor Neuron Disease after rugby player and Founder Doddie Weir was diagnosed with the condition. Doddie helps fellow sufferers and seeks ways to research this, as yet, incurable disease. See less
