Help us to help young people who need wellbeing support during COVID-19
COVID-19 and its restrictions have impacted on us all but there is growing evidence that the our young people are hardest hit (Scarred for life), particularly in terms of their mental health. Many young people and especially those who are vulnerable will not have built up resilience to cope with the uncertainties of the pandemic and their opportunities in work and leisure have changed dramatically. That's why support for young people and talking therapies are so important at this time. Eye to Eye provides school, community and online counselling. Without mental health there is no health.
Raising money for small charities like Eye to Eye is more important now than ever. That's why Lindsey and I want to do our little bit. Inspired by the start of the 'firebreak' in Wales and the dark nights we have decided to each cycle the perimeter of Wales on an exercise bike by Christmas day. That's around 3,600 km of pedal power between us.
