Story
The children who I will be teaching, in both schools, are forced to make a long and dangerous journey accessible only by a boat ride on unclean water and a long trek barefoot, in order to have an education.
I plan to teach these children basic English, incorporating songs and stories but also teaching them new skills for leisure time activities such as football and making paper airplanes.
On the 22nd of October to help raise funds I am running a half-marathon over The North Downs. Having discovered that the minimum age for entry to a half-marathon is 17 years old and given that I am running at the age of 15, I have mapped out a half marathon myself and will be running solo!
