RuralI am a nursing student set to travel to Lusaka, Zambia (Africa) in the summer of, 2018, to complete a medical placement in both urban and rural settings. I will be volunteering in hospitals for two weeks and then I will spend a week living with villagers in an Urban setting and volunteering my help. You can be part of this too, by offering a small donation towards purchasing medical supplies.

With no NHS, Zambia has limited medical stock, so your contribution will assist with the purchase of basic clinical supplies such as aprons, gloves and sanitisers. This may not sound like much but in the reality of a healthcare setting that does not have them provided for free, they are crucial to maintaining a good level of hygiene and therefore reducing infection risks.

One box of 100 Aprons costs £3.85p.

One box of 100 basic latex gloves costs £4.35p.

One alcohol based sanitiser 100ml costs £0.99p.
