I was a single parent living in Somerset when I became acquainted with my future partner who lived in Buckingham with her 2 children and going through divorce the year was 1999.
We meet in 2000 for the first time and for me it was love at first sight which I had never believed in, 2 3rds of the way through 2000 I moved to Buckingham with my 2 youngest children to be with her.
We told each other our dreams, me being a motor mechanic from the country was a boring one, I had just always wanted to own a Jaguar oh my god she bought me a second hand one!
Her dream was to become a teacher, she helped and worked in schools, so I became house husband to my Daughter and Son and her Daughter & Son plus did a bit of child-minding for friends, odd jobs on cars and general odd jobs and we put her through Oxford Brookes and made her dream come true too.
1 year ago I started losing weight and became very unstable and couldn't lift much of anything, after lots of waiting for appointments (still on going) I have been told I have MND between each appointment I have grown weaker and am now virtually off my feet and am losing my arms, we applied for a council grant for a small single story extension for living & bedroom and a wet room and because my partner works we can not have one, I refuse to let her give up her dream for me, she loves being a primary school teacher and the school she is in, the kids always love her and excel and this is why I am asking for any help I can find, this is hard for me as I have always been the helper!!
