Story
Our friend Doddie will be well known to many of you as the Scotland and British Lions rugby player. Peter has known Doddie for over 25 years as team mates and play mates- those years have included two World Cups together and many years at Newcastle Falcons. Doddie has been a great friend- he is one of the best.
Now faced with the incredibly difficult diagnosis that he has Motor Neurone Disease Doddie has set out to raise awareness for MND in his usual good humoured and committed way.
The Waltons (Peter, Di, Jack and Lucy) together with a few friends are planning a sponsored walk on Saturday 6th January from Upton Rugby Club to Ledbury Rugby Club. We'd love you to support us through this site please raising funds for the Doddie Weir5 Trust fund.
On behalf of Doddie and his family, thank you sincerely.

Well done guys. Very happy memories of a brief visit that Doddie made to Camp Hill RFC back in 1999. Top, top man.
