Peter is one of my oldest friends and the kindest guy you'll ever meet. From the UK, he's been teaching English in Turkey for the last 20 years. Peter is generous beyond belief. I've seen him spend his last few lira to buy food to help street cats, I've seen him give his last pennies to help strangers and friends. Peter is one of the good guys.

The recent social unrest in Turkey meant that he had to leave. On his travels he found a stray kitten by the side of the road. Being Peter he rescued the kitty (Meric) and they are currently living together in a campervan on a campsite in Alexandroupoli, Greece.

They both need to get back to the UK as soon as possible. Peter has spent his last funds paying for Merics vet bills and animal travel documents, and he now needs money for fuel and food before his MOT runs out. This would mean him and Meric being stranded in Greece.

Please can we send some of Peter's kindness back around and get them home!
