Weʼve raised £460 to sponsor Peter to run the 2017 London Marathon in his 60th year. Peter is running to raise money for cancer charities

Story
Peter hopes to get accepted in the main ballot to run the marathon, in which case he would like to raise the money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation and McMillian Nurses. If he doesn't get into the main ballot he will get a charity place with Cancer Research UK.
Peter has run the marathon several times achieving his best time of 3:46:42 in 2006, this time he is hoping to do it in 4 hours.

8 years agoDuring our recent holiday in Tenerife, Peter continued his training, setting off at 7:30am to avoid the heat of the day, with 3 ten mile runs and 1 seven mile run although his attempt at an early morning run today was postponed to midmorning due to the good old freezing temperature in Preston!
