I have won the opportunity to participate in a global adventure to Nepal in 2018 supported by my school, through a company called True Adventure.
It is a personal development journey lasting on average about 18 months. It started at the end of last year.
While the expedition itself is 14 days, every team member (19 successful applicants from my year) is involved in fundraising, planning and preparing for the expedition.
Teams are encouraged to take on a rewarding project during their expedition to genuinely help benefit the lives of their host community.

Next year, I am undertaking a project to provide support to those who suffered the effects of the recent earthquake by helping them in the reconstruction of homes, community buildings or schools.

Whilst my school supports the project, the funding has to be undertaken by myself. The total cost for me is @ £2700. So far I have raised just under half through fundraising and ‘weekend’ jobs for family and friends.

I am now undertaking a personal challenge in the hope I can rally support to raise a further amount to pay for the trip.

Please support me in my challenge to try and complete the UK three peaks challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in 24 hours.

Our family supported charity is Great Ormond Street Childrens hospital. I plan to give 20% of any money raised on this Just Giving site to this charity.
