Story
Hello everyone,
My name is Phillipson Peltier and I am from the Caribbean Island Dominca but Reside in the UK .My Mum along with her husband and my two Sisters and children are stuck on the Island of Dominica As you all know by now, Category 5: Hurricane Maria has swept through Dominica destroying about 95% of the Island, making it inhabitable.
My mum , Lena Peltier and her husband Felix peltier , and sister Avril Peltier flew there homes to safety and have absolutely nothing but the clothing on their backs with My Nieces and nephew Alexia age11 ,Duncan ,Mandie and Tejay 6 , The situation in Dominica is in need of desperate help. They have lost their security, home and their entire livelihood.
Hurricane Maria has brought immense destruction to Dominica, devastating homes and infrastructure in just a matter of hours. The category 5 force has left the people of Dominica in need of immediate aid and the catastrophic damage has left people with nothing but to rebuild their livelihoods and everything they had. With no shelter, no food, and no medicine, people need our help right now.
As we speak there is little communication with the island as power lines and electricity are down, however information is slowly coming in. Families all over the world are currently anxious and waiting to hear from loved ones
Your support will help innocent people in this initial stage of the rebuild. Basic resources can be distributed, such as emergency food supplies and building materials, water , clothes your support will also provide some reassurance that there is hope for people to get their lives back. Your donation will, without any doubt
My family and I are trying to support them as much as we can but I need your help also. It has devastated my entire neighborhood & left so many in the village Pointe Mitchel homeless and many dead .I have had many people ask how they can help so I wanted to set an account up so we can buy items and food supplies. I already bought barellls to fill up with items they desperatly need once full they will be shipped to the Caribbean .
Sweet Soap,Washing soap,Breeze,Flour,Ketchup,Rice,Biscuits crackers,Napkins,Dishwashing liquid,Batteries,Candles,Tin stuffs,Peas/beans,Cornflakes,Full cream milk,Sugar white r brown,Matches,Radio that using battery,Hand sanitizer,Shampoo conditioner,Body wash,Bathtowells ,Sanitary napkin,Shavers,Disinfectant,Mostiquito repellent ETC the list goes on .
We are trying to raise £1300 ,funds to help them on the island and my village Pointe Mitchel to help re-build their lives by making barrels to send to the Island .
The donation will also help them to replace the entire roofs and windows that damaged during the Hurricane. My sister home has been washed away by the hurricane so she remain homeless .I will be travelling to the caribbean to help my Family and the village the best i can .
I know God will provide & I am so thankful for everyone's prayers. I'm feeling a bit defeated & overwhelmed at the moment & figured anything will help. God has a plan and I'm trying to stay strong and praise Him through this storm in my life. Thank you so much
