Merthyr Town FC are a vitally important part of my community and are a shining light in the world of non-league and supporter-owned clubs. The recent news of their financial plight came as a shock to everyone in the footballing community and sparked a nationwide outpouring of support and fundraising ventures to get the club back on its feet. My humble effort will be to run a 10k race in Pontypool on Feb 25th, giving any money you donate straight to The Martyrs. Diolch yn fawr x.
