Story
I am walking from Southwark to Canterbury starting on the second May bank holiday. Pilgrimages are often about spiritual journeys.
As a leader at www.oakchurch.co.uk we are committed to impacting our community with the love of God, I am walking to raise funds to enable individuals and families connected with the church who cannot afford a holiday to be able to attend.
Today I completed a practice walk of 20 miles. When I walk from London to Canterbury I will be walking 23 miles each day for three days!

I am 47 and a leader at The Oak Community Church, in an effort to get fit I have lost 5 stone in just a few months. Part of the new me was an idea to complete Chaucer's Canterbury Tales route, which I shall now be doing as a Fundraiser
