Story
Care Home staff are sometimes overlooked in the role they play looking after elderly and vulnerable people at this difficult time. We aim to raise enough money each week to send Pizzas to local care home staff to support them, and recognise the amazing job they do.
Using the resources of local pub kitchens currently not in normal operation we aim to provide a valuable service in support of our community carers.

4 years agoA HUGE thank you for the kindness and generosity of everyone so far. After just three days we raised our initial target of £500 through online and direct donations, and the first deliveries of pizza have now gone out, starting with the Manor Farm care home in Abbotsley. They were surprised and delighted to recieve pizzas timed for the evening staff break. Please forward the link to the Just Giving page and we will keep delviering pizzas to thank our care staff for the amazing job they do.

4 years agoThank you so much for your generous support, and kind words, our first delivery of Pizzas go out this evening to Manor Farm Care Home in Abbottsley in time for the staff meal break at 5.30pm. They were so delighted when we phoned out of the blue to tell them we are coming and I am sure it will give them a real boost.
