Story
I'm planning on doing a 13,000 ft tandem sky-dive to raise money for Oxford Children's Hospital and Headway Oxfordshire on behalf of the fundraising organisation Play2Give (play2give.org.uk), which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. It will take place on September 3rd 2017.
I became interested in P2G when I heard of the life and work of its founder, Andy Baker. In 2016, I became the organisation's Community Officer, and have been blessed with the opportunity to contribute to the incredibly fundraising activities P2G organises in order to support the Children's Hospital, Headway, and a host of other charities. As Play2Give's 10th anniversary draws near, I have decided to plummet to the ground at 130 mph in the hope that the amusement of it will encourage you good folk to donate and support those receiving support and/or treatment from the two charities I am skydiving for.
I'd like to raise at least £500 to continue Play2Give's on-going support of both organisations to better equip them to treat and rehabilitate their patients so that they can have the best quality of life possible. The money can be used to make patients, especially poorly children, more comfortable, and to contribute to ensuring that they receive the best care that they can!
Please give generously - your contribution will make a huge difference!
