Weʼre raising £500 to "Operation Canyon Rising"

Boston, Massachusetts, États-Unis

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

Our PLD colleague Aaron will participate in "Operation Canyon Rising" taking a group of disabled veterans on a motivational rim-to-rim hike through the Grand Canyon to aid in their rehabilitation process. The hike will signify the journey of life before injury or illness, the realization of the new disability and finish with the vision of overcoming limitations and gaining hope for the future ahead.

In an attempt to fundraise for this great cause, his PLD classmates will run a half-marathon from Harvard's campus to Boston and back. The 13.1 miles along the Charles River will take place on Tuesday 24th July at 3.30pm, it is as well possible to join for the last 4 miles starting from the campus at 5.30pm. Thank you for your support!
