Simba is one years old and loves everyone! He's very loud, cuddly and has three brothers who he is obsessed with. Simba was playing at home when he suddenly dropped to the ground and couldn't move. We tried everything to help him move and work out why he wasn't moving. He was floppy and crying out in pain. We took him to the vets and they discovered he had broken his spine and would need an operation to repair the spinal damage. We are devastated to find that our insurance won't cover this and that without the operation he either has to be put to sleep or we can keep him comfortable while his spine tries to repair itself, but this may never happen or could take months. Simba is unable to wee, eat or drink by himself and cannot move at all other than his eyes and head slightly. He is completely immobile. His brothers keep sniffing him and crying and we have had him at home for one night and he has cried the whole time. He is so sad because he can't move and wants to so much. Our last option is to put him to sleep and is the worst thing imaginable but he isn't ready to go yet and has so much more to give. He needs the operation as soon as possible to reach a full recovery.
