Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Glasgow Churches Together plan to highlight the plight of homelessness and encourage as many people to become involved in fundraising, to enable a lifesized bronze statue of a shrouded Jesus, lying on a bench, to be installed near St. Georges Tron, off Buchanan Street, Glasgow in November.
Glasgow City Council have approved the installation of the statue by the sculptor Timothy P. Schmulz.
I am committed to raise £1000 of the total £30,000 which is needed for the statue.
