Story
This is my dog Popcorn.
We bought Popcorn from a private breeder after seeing her with her mother. She was very happy and the last one in the litter; we fell in love with her instantly.
After 6 days of having her at home, we noticed that she was struggling to walk properly and dragging her back left leg. I took her to the vet and after a series of tests, blood tests and a visit to a neurologist, she was diagnosed with a condition called Neospora. This condition isn't common in dogs and not much information is known about the disease.
Popcorn is now 18 months old and so far has spent most of her life taking antibiotics. Eventually we think she will need some sort of operation or wheels to enable her to get around. As I'm sure you can imagine this is all very expensive.
Popcorn is insured, however the insurance didn't come into force until 14 days after we had taken it out. Therefore, she isn't insured for this condition, I wasn't going to let her be in pain whilst we waited for the insurance to go through.
She means the world to me and has made me so happy. Popcorn has improved my mental health considerably and to save her, we need help raising money for her medical funds.
Any amount of money you can afford to give will be really, really appreciated.
Popcorn thanks you from the bottom of her paws!
Thank you so much!
