    Story

Portskewett and Sudbrook club have over the last few years grown and developed into an amazing club for boys and girls football. Ran by a solid group of volunteer coaches, the energy is electric.

Recently the coaches arranged a fantastic and massively successful football festival, attended by junior teams from across South Wales and parts of England.

Unfortunately on the Saturday night of that weekend, the club was a victim of a mindless arson attack! Hundreds of pounds worth of equipment was damaged, all having to be paid for from the money raised from the weekend.

Coaches and parents alike are devastated.

The local papers have been contacted to get some coverage of the clubs plight, and some of us parents have set up this just giving crowdfunding to see if we can raise some money to cover the cost of the damage and give back to an amazing community project ran by some amazing volunteers.

We also want the great collection of children within this club to get a sense of community spirit and understand how communities stick together and educate them on the importance of respecting and valuing the community they grow up in.

Please, every penny counts! We would appreciate everything and anything towards this crowdfunding to ensure this community club is left with only the emotional scars of this situation, and not the financial burden as well.

Any additional funds raised, beyond what is needed for the above plan, will be donated to the club for future equipment purchases for the children.
