hello we are trying to raise funds to purchase a defibrillator case at PORT TALBOT TOWN FC for the club .

We have been kindly offered a defib which is a massive help to our fundraising as initially our target was £1600 . Now we only need to fundraise for a locker for it . Which means we have adjusted our target to £400

AED Defibrillators are not cheap but the more there are in the community the better chance of survival someone has if they have a cardiac arrest.

Every second counts when you’re having a cardiac arrest. There are 8000 sudden cardiac arrests outside hospital in Wales every year, and only a 3% survival rate.

A defibrillator is able to restart the heart during a cardiac arrest, and can save lives. When used, the survival rate can increase to 50%
