Weʼre raising £300 to buy sewing machines for the women featured in the documentary 'Positive Women: Heartache, Hope & Living with HIV'
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We are raising money to buy sewing machines for the women in our documentary, 'Positive Women.' In the film, Agnes says her dream is to own a sewing machine so she can make clothes to sell and support her family. Through screenings of the film, we hope to raise enough money to buy Agnes and the five other women featured in the documentary a sewing machine, so they can each start a small business and earn money independently. So far, we have raised £1,200 and we have set up this Just Giving page to help us reach our overall target of £1,500. Any donations will be very gratefully received. Thank you, Anne & Bex
