Over the course of 8 days in March, I will be running 210miles/338km (over a marathon a day) along the Jurassic Coast trail from Bridport to Falmouth. I hope to raise £2000 for The Ugandan School Project.
The project was set up by my sister's close friend Harry Bucknell, having identified schools in Uganda in great need of everything including toilets, classrooms etc. They have made huge progress and are dedicated to continuing this work helping schools and children.
The project spent a month at the start of last year in Eastern Uganda finding a suitable school to lend support to. They selected Makenya Primary School which was one of the school's most in need of support.

The government had neglected the school completely, having been the only school in the region without proper classrooms, toilets or water access.
All money raised will go towards the building of classrooms, facilities, providing textbooks and learning materials, basic sanitation & latrines, and further income generating projects for the local community once the school is complete.
