Prestwick businesses seek to make Prestwick shine bright for years to come !
Supporting a town by using local businesses is so much more than a feel good factor. Local businesses create employment and hundreds of jobs have been created in Prestwick. A vibrant town centre has been shown to create a sense of community , tends to have lower crime rates and plays a part in keeping house values higher as it becomes an attractive place to live.
The Prestwick business association are looking to seek approval from local businesses to become a business improvement district in January 2019. Under the banner Propel Prestwick it hopes to demonstrate that every businesses contributing an annual fee can further improve Prestwick as a place to own a business, work , live and socialise.
Whilst Propel Prestwick gets underway the Prestwick business association wants to continue its good work by giving back in the community and providing the town with wonderful Christmas lighting. Over recent years the business association have worked hard as individuals and with some support from south ayrshire council, have purchased all the lighting for Prestwick.
In order to keep Prestwick shining bright for years to come the Prestwick business association have created a just giving page for businesses and members of the local community to make a donation through just giving . £10,000 is the target for 2018 and fundraising begins now . Please give generously and help Prestwick shine bright . People make Prestwick, people make a difference. On behalf of the Prestwick Business Association thank you to everyone who makes a donation xx
