To help raise money for a minibus we have persuaded 7 of the Purbrook Junior School team to abseil the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.
We are hoping to raise enough money to have our own school minibus, we feel this would enrich our childrens learning in so may ways.
To take teams representing the school to sporting events and competitions.
To take groups of SEN children to local SEN festivals and schools.
To use for transport for our yearly swimming programme.
To use for local school trips and excursions.
To expand what we can offer smaller groups of children for rewards or to enhance topics - trips to museums etc.
To take children attending After School Clubs on trips to enhance eg. garden centres
As you can see, having the use of a mini daily would be so good for the school. We hope that this is something we can achieve in the near future. In line with the guidelines via Hampshire School Advise, the cost of a mini bus is £12,000 with your help we will hopefully achieve our target.
