Story
Hi everybody,
My name is Caragh Mackay and I’m 7 years old. On Sunday 16th September 2018 I‘m planning on taking part in the Edinburgh Kilt walk (wee wander) which is 5 miles walking around the city centre. My dad is going to accompany me as i am required to have a adult with me.
My reason for doing this is my little sister Kaida spent 5 weeks in hospital last year between March and April. It turned out that she was diagnosed with hydrocephalus and group strep b menengitis. After loads of tests and a couple of operations she now has a shunt in her head which she will live with for the rest of her life. Now that she is all better, she is a lovable wee sister but sometimes she can be quite annoying!!! I would like to do a little something to say a huge thank you for making my sister all better.
Thank you for taking the time to read why I‘m doing the Edinburgh Kilt Walk (wee wander). I would be very greatful if you could spare a few pennies to raise funds for the Glasgow Childrens Hospital Charity.
