Story
I'm assisting with raising money for The Wight Brainy Bunch (Brain tumour charity) by taking part in a Skydive on August 8th!
I'm absolutely terrified but sure it'll be a fantastic experience, and it's for an amazing cause that's so close to my heart. If you are able to donate anything to help me reach the target, I would be super grateful and owe you big time <3

The Wight Brainy Bunch was formed by my mum and step-dad (Mark) following his diagnosis of a brain tumour in 2015.
After suffering numerous seizures, an MRI confirmed what was believed to be a low grade Oligodendroglioma; one of the rarer tumours, approximately 5x5cm in size, that had probably been growing for many years. He was told that whilst the tumour could be surgically removed, this was not a cure and that over time it would be likely to recur. He was also told that because of the tumours location, the 4 hour craniotomy would need to be performed while he was awake, so they could test his speech and motor skills throughout the procedure,as to do it under general anaesthetic would be too dangerous.
Following surgery they realised that there was little or no support for brain tumour patients on the Isle of Wight and that there were many more families in the same situation.
All monies raised are divided between The Brain Tumour Charity, to aid research into early diagnosis and to improve the quality of life of brain tumour patients: Smile4Wessex, the official charity of The Wessex Neurological Centre in Southampton, where Mark underwent his surgery but also provide acute and specialist care to a population of approximately 3 million people from the Isle of Wight and across the South Coast, not only for brain tumours but conditions such as stroke, brain haemorrhage, motor neurone disease and dementia; and to support Isle of Wight families both financially and emotionally who are living with or been affected by brain tumours.
