Story
Myself, friends, family and my 11 year old daughter will be doing a 13 mile fancy dress walk from Keighley to Skipton on the 21st April 2018 starting at 10 am. We are raising money for specialist equipment for my nephew Scott age 15 who suffers with a life limiting condition called Duchenne muscular dystrophy to help make his life as comfortable as possible. Duchenne muscular dystrophy is 100% fatal and has NO cure it is a relentless progressive muscle wasting condition that ultimately ends when the heart and lungs fail. Scott is a happy funny 15 year old boy that loves playing on his Xbox, he is now in a wheel chair full time from this condition.
If you would like to surport us you can give a donation here orif you would rather you can make a donation on the day anywhere along our route from keighley to skipton.
Thank you in advance for reading our story and for any donation.
Many thanks Rachael & Co x
