Marie and friends charity climb up criffel

My best friend Marie recently lost her 23 year old son Brad who took his own life. No mother should ever have to lose their child so young. Marie will never know what was going through Brads head or why he did it and that must be one of the hardest things. we can never take her pain away for her but we can be there to help and support as much as we can. Brad once climbed criffel and knew his mum wanted to do it so when he went up that day he sent a cheeky wee picture to her, so we thought it would be nice to go up and at same time leave a small memory of brad up there. Brad will probably be laughing down at us as not all of us are fit but hey it will be a good challenge and for a good cause.

We want to also do this to raise money for the charity 'Brothers in Arms'. they help men seek help and support to try prevent male suicide. They are looking to set up a new app aimed at young men from the age of 13 for stress and anxiety so we want to help with this. The app will be called 'brothersfeelstressfree'. Marie has already donated money that was collected at Brads funeral for their other app ' brotherstayalive' a free suicide prevention app. As we feel this is a worthwhile cause we want to help more. please have a look at their page and see what they do. we will be doing our climb on sat 19th may so plenty of time to donate :). any donations will be so appreciated and also anyone who would like to come along more the merrier

we will have water, juice and chocolate to hand out for some energy on the day and some bands to keep in support of brothers in arms
