    Story

Pailton ex-servicemans club was first opened 70 yrs ago! The very first ever ex-serviceman served at the bar still uses the club today!!!! It has been a well loved and important part of the community all this time (locals say ”there used to be 5 pubs in the village and everyone always said the club would be the first to go”). We are now the last one standing, albeit only just, but we are very proud if this.

we are open to anyone who wants to join us you dont have to have served to enjoy the club and we have a lovely variety of members from all walks of life.

the club is host to various kinds of events from birthday parties, charity fundraising events, wedding receptions to vintage motorcycle meets and beyond. With so many of these type of bookings for the coming year we need to make sure they can still go ahead and to ensure we save the club for future generations.

so having been set new demands in order to renew the lease we are in desperate need of help, we need to raise a lot of money to be able to pay for a lot of repairs including electrics, new insurance policies that have been requested to be put in place and the increase of the rental price! Having all of this to try and cover all at once is impossible with our current situation hence the desperate

need for help! The club along with many other clubs and pubs are all struggling with trading issues and it is always a harder struggle through the winter months.

so we ask for any donations anyone can give to help to save this lovely club from closing like so many unfortunate ex-servicemans clubs have already done!
