On Wednesday 8th August 2018, I shall be facing my fears and taking to the skies to join The Wight Brainy Bunch in their Charity Skydive. We will be raising money for Smile4Wessex, who provide acute and specialist care to a population of approximately 3 million people on the Isle of Wight and across the south coast, not only for brain tumours but also for conditions such as stroke, brain haemorrhage, motor neurone disease and dementia, The Brain Tumour Charity, to fund much needed research, aid early diagnosis and improve care and quality of life for all those living with a brain tumour and of course The Wight Brainy Bunch themselves, a charity set up to support familIes on the Isle of Wight affected by brain tumours.

It is estimated that 11,000 people are diagnosed with a primary brain tumour each year. That equates to approximately 30 people a day. This is a cause close to my heart, as I know it is with many others too. Please give as much or as little as you like, and we can try and raise the money these fantastic charities deserve.
