I believe in youth, and I believe in young leaders who are not afraid to step out of their comfort zone to make this world a better place!

Last year I have been privileged enough to be able to live a life-changing experience as a volunteer in Morocco for 6 weeks.

For the past 2 years, I had wanted to participate to one of AIESEC's volunteering programs abroad but I was financially capable of funding myself. I was lucky enough to be awarded a funding from a company which made my dream come through.

I am not the only young man who dreams of having an impact on the underprivileged communities; I am sure that there are thousands out there, but unfortunately for some, dreams don't always become reality, and they remain ... only dreams.

This is why I feel responsible to give back and offer someone else, who, like me, cannot afford to pay for a volunteering program without external funding.

It's a ripple effect: not only do the communities where volunteers work benefit from it, but also the volunteer, who will be living a life-changing experience like I did. Who knows, maybe that person will be empowered to offer this chance to someone else too, next year. Maybe the experience will help him/her understand the world better and determine him/her to do even more to fight issues around the globe. It's a ripple effect.

The funds will all be used to fund the exchange participation fee for one young student from Manchester who will be able to choose a volunteering project to go on this summer through AIESEC Global Volunteer. The volunteering project will be aligned to one or more Sustainable Development Goals by the United Nations.

The experience will be documented and showcased!
