Story
My Daughter, Rebecca, age 17, has just been diagnosed with Hip Bone Cancer (Sarcoma) in her left hip with three large tumours that are causing lots of pain and need to be removed. Starting on the 8th May 2017, I am walking 185 miles from the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, London, where Rebecca is being treated, to Arrowe Park Hospital Birkenhead, where Rebecca was born in 1999. The route follows the A5/A51/A41 and I will arrive in Birkenhead on the 12th May and finish at the last home game of the season for Everton Football Club, the club that Rebecca supports on the 13th May 2017. I will be collecting money online and along the way to give Rebecca a better life and help with rehabilitation after painful surgery.
