Our little girl Esme was diagnosed with hip dysplacia last Friday.

We've been told she needs a serious hip operation asap to put her hip socket back into the joint and will be in a special cast called a Spica cast for quite some time afterwards. This will mean that Esme will be in a fixed position whilst she is in the spica cast, possibly even a laid flat position.

We will need to purchase various different equipment to make her as comfortable as possible i.e.

New wide special car seat,
New special wide buggy,
Special pillows & bean bags,
Extra nappies or sanitary pads,
High chair,
Possibly a specially handmade wooden table. ( depending on her position in the cast )
Amongst other things like a tablet/ipad for her to play on and certain toys to keep her entertained. Also a tv for her bedroom for when she's having trouble getting comfortable through the night.

Esmes surgery is going to be the end of August. Possibly sooner.
