Story
An honesty box has been sited at Rainton's play park – it is hoped that over the coming years visitors give generously to help maintain the wonderful facilities.
On the 16th September 2017 I take on the Yorkshire Warrior 10km obstacle race across tough Yorkshire countryside with hills, rivers & lake crossings and much, much more. If this was not enough of a challenge I am hoping you will consider sponsoring me to help raise funds to pay for the honesty box.
Strength, stamina, determination and the thought that together we are raising funds for Rainton Recreation Association will help get me around the course.
Thanks for reading and any donation to help pay for the honesty box at Rainton's play park will make my event doubly rewarding.

7 years agoFinal training day before Yorkshire Warrior next Saturday. Slogged and battled my way around 10km to remind my legs and more importantly my mind what to expect next week. To most regular runners, this isn’t anything spectacular; but for me, it is a huge success. 7 years agoTraining for the Yorkshire Warrior continued this weekend with Paul Hardcastle and a steady paced run around Quarry Moor Nature Reserve in Ripon, supported by Kev and 2 whippets! Thanks to everyone who has kindly sponsored me so far.
