Our friend Beccie started University with us a month ago and left her car at home, not insured, as she was hoping to sell it to pay off the outstanding finance and balloon payment. Since then her car has been stolen!!
The police have made no effort to find the stolen car. This has severe consequences - she may have to drop out of University due to not being able to meet the payments as she has no income and will be declined a student loan next year, because of the potential debt.

We are studying dental hygiene, a full time and intense course. It is a very competitive course to get on to and she has beat the odds to be awarded a place. If she can not pay the debt, there will be very little chance of her re-applying and getting a place again!
