Story
I will be flying to Zanzibar in December to volunteer as an Occupational Therapist in the Sober Houses.
The area of mental health remains underfunded, stigmatised and misunderstood worldwide, I am going to volunteer in the sober houses where no OTs are employed. I will be developing an OT programme and using activity as a therapeutic tool to promote recovery.
Any donations will be gratefully received in order to help me carry out this project.
