A Local Charity New Images Needs Your help Now!

This is a one off campaign to help a community Charity in the Winsford Area.

Winsford Youth and Community Forum based at Nixon Drive, Winsford has an urgent need for a new electrical main panel, switchgear and wiring.

The centre provides a wide range of community services from the provision of sports facilities to keep fit and healthy classes and from coffee mornings to Line dancing group clubs for all ages and abilities. The centre also provides many local clubs premises to hold meetings for groups as diverse as ‘Princes Trust’ life skills training and ‘Bright Life’ (support for the over 55’s).

We all aware of the reductions in local services and the increase in regulations we have suffered over the last 8 years.

The Centre has an urgent need to upgrade its Electrical boards and switchgear which due to both age and use are no longer fit for purpose. This has become an urgent problem because the new regulations require replacement in order for the centre to meet the modern standards of safety and operation which will allow it to continue providing these much needed services for another 30 years.

In order to keep the centre open we need to raise £14,000 to replace and fit the electrical systems by the end of April 2018.

This is a one off appeal to the generosity of the local residents and businesses in the Winsford area. The Forum is staffed by local volunteers providing a service to the whole of the local community. Once the work is done we can continue to provide the services that have helped people in the community since we started more than 30 years ago.

We will be walking up Snowden in April 2018 and we welcome sponsorship's or donations to save this much loved community centre but anyone from Winsford area should help save this much revered community centre.
