I was asked to preach at church this Sunday (1st October) and I was so overwhelmed by the passage that I have to do something, anything that will bring a bit of light into someone else's life.

Matthew 25: 35-40 is powerful stuff.

I was hungry, and you gave me food...I was alone and away from home and you invited me into your house...I was sick, and you cared for me...I tell you the truth. Anything you did for any of my people here, you also did for me."

It made me ask: What am I doing for others?

All I could hear was do something, anything...ACT. So here I am trying to do something small to help others. This Christmas all the money I would have spent on buying gifts I will be giving to charity.

Your part is simple = please do not give me anything this Christmas, instead donate money to this page, which I will split between the following charities:

Send a Cow: I love this charity as they practically help those in need. The use the pay it forward system to - so this is a gift that keeps on giving. The government is also doing price match with them just now - so any money given will be matched.

Therapy Dogs: I want to donate money here as they are coming into the Academy that I work it to help those students who find reading very hard.

Hope Counselling: Would not be here today without these folks.
