Story
I am embarking on a four week placement in Ghana in March 2017 as part of my last year of my Child Health Nursing degree. I will be volunteering in the hospital in Takoradi, in A&E, children’s ward, labour suite and neonatal unit. I will also have the opportunity to live with a local fishing village family and experience community healthcare first hand. This is an eye opening and once in a lifetime opportunity to see Ghanaian healthcare and culture. BUT, in order to do so, I need your help in raising the funds to embark on this adventure, and I would greatly appreciate your donations.
