Across the UK, too many girls are unable to access sanitary products because they cannot afford to do so or are embarrassed which results in them missing school.

This should not be happening and we want to see an end to period poverty.

The aim is to get a Red Box in as many schools in the West London area as possible meaning girls will be able to access the products they need without embarrassment.

The Red Box is kept at school, either with the School Nurse or at Reception and is filled with pads, tampons, pants and paper bags. Girls can take what they need to see them through to the following month.

The Red Box is topped up when needed but we rely on donations and goodwill so any contributions, big or small, will be gratefully received.
