Weʼve raised £2,052 to Dolly needs surgery. She’s a Romanian rescue from PPTF, shes had a hard time in her short life, please help to make her life easier

Funded on Thursday, 28th October 2021

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

Dolly is a 3.5 year old romanian street dog rescued from the amazing Pawprints to Freedom, she has had such a difficult start to life, now she is finally safe and loved with a full tummy!

Sadly, she has developed patella luxation, which will require surgery.

She is insured, however, this is classed as a pre existing condtion and I just haven’t got the funds to be able to make her better.

She should be out playing and enjoying her life, it’s the least she deserves.

Please help, every £1 will make all the difference.

I was lost and she rescued me as much as I rescued her, she needs this surgery and needs the pain gone.

    Thank you

Thought I’d let you generous and lovely people that Dolly’s surgery was a success! Luckily, there was no cartilage damage found which was a big concern and would’ve complicated things further, so that’s a huge relief! It took 2 lots of sedation to get her drowsy before going under and she was still fighting to stay awake! 😂 You can take the dog off the street, but you can’t take the street out of the dog! She’s obviously resting and it’ll be a long recovery with lots of pain relief (hidden in sausages) and a post op follow up tomorrow… 🙏🏻

A little update…. So, we had Dolly’s first gotcha day, she won 4th place for best rescue dog at the dog show (after she caused carnage!) and had her consultation at the vets, all in the last couple of days! Busy busy! 😳 I’m as prepared now mentally (not quite emotionally) as I can be for her surgery next week (10/08), we will continue to update you all on how she gets on, as this wouldn’t all be possible thanks to each and everyone of you ❤️
