Story
The page will attempt to raise £4000 so that a pastor/teacher in Myanmar Rev. Thang San Mung can purchase the portfolio version of the Logos bible software giving him 4000 + resources at his fingertips. This will enable him to have up date sources to teach the pastors of Myanmar.
Resources are hard to come by in Myanmar, Christianity still being a distrusted religion. Five years ago it was illegal to possess a printed bible within the country never mind further Christian resources. In the last two years this has changed with the establishment of a new democratic government. But resourcing are still slow and those teaching church leaders there are still in great need of relevant, up to date sources.
The logos bible software will allow Thang Sung Mung to access 4000 + sources offline straight from his laptop creating for him a vast library and the ability to cross reference all these sources doing in one or two seconds what a researcher will do in four or five weeks of intense study.
Thang is a person of influence within the Myanmar church. Investing in him in this way allows us to invest in the pastors of the church of Myanmar, and all those who they influence.
If you are unable to contribute financially I ask that you pray for this endeavour.
