Story
On Monday 18th February 2020, as a result of Storm Denis, the river Wye burst its banks and Ye Olde Ferrie Inn pub in Symonds Yat, Herefordshire was severely flooded.
This historic pub has been in operation for over 400 years and is an important part of the community - not only does it provide great local beer and food, it serves as a ferry crossing and over the years that it’s owner, Jamie, has run the pub, he has dedicated significant time and money to charities including Macmillan Cancer Support.
The extent of the costs of damage and shortfall of any insurance coverage is not yet known but it would be great if you could help out, however small or large. All proceeds will go to the Ye Olde Ferrie Inn to cover flooding damage costs.
