Rhiannon is taking on a huge challenge, she has been selected to go on a school expedition with 14 others to Nicaragua next year. When she is there she will be volunteering with La Esperanza Granada an organization focused on improving the lives and education of impoverished children living in Granada, Nicaragua.

She has now set herself a personal challenge of cycling from Glasgow to Edinburgh with Pedal Scotland on the 10th of September. This is a 45 mile cycle rising to 637 feet.

She will need lots of support to achieve this because she does not cycle very often and she has received some negative comments about her physical abilities to be able to achieve this. She has decided to prove to herself and others that you can achieve when you use a growth mindset and resillience to achieve your goals.
