After discussion and feedback we have now decided to stretch the target in an aim to provide further support wherever possible. We have been made aware that people continue to fundraise on behalf of the family, and again we thank everyone for their continued and kind efforts.

As many of you may be aware, our friend Neil (Junior) was diagnosed with a rare form of Cancer just under two years ago.

Unfortunately in the recent months he has spent much of his time in hospital and away from his partner, Rachel and Baby girl, Ruby. We are hoping that he can come home to his family in the very near future.

However, and due to his condition there are some challenges that lie ahead. There are adjustments that need to be made at their home, some of which are in hand and some of which we require help to achieve. After much 'arm twisting' he has agreed for us to go ahead and ask for that help that he needs at this time, and moving forward.

We are hoping to raise funds in order for a wet room to be installed as this is a real priority in order to have him home and comfortable. If we can achieve this it would be a huge benefit to the family in the coming months.

Also, as a group collectively we also hope to raise enough money in order to ensure the family have an area whereby they can all relax outside together in the summer days (even if this means we have to get our own hands dirty).

He's been good to all of us over the years whether it be buying a few pints or fixing a tap so lets do a bit for him.
