Simon needs help financially. He needs a transplant from his sister who lives in the United States. Simon has life threatening AML, an acute form of Leukemia. This transplant could save his life! Please help me help him by donating as much as you can!

Simon is my friend of 35 years and is married to Sara. He has two lovely daughters and was diagnosed with AML on the 17th October 2016. Whilst receiving fantastic treatment at the Royal Marsden hospital in Sutton, he was told that he needed a bone marrow transplant to save his life. He was extremely lucky to find his sister was a match, and had his first transplant in April 2017.

Unfortunately Simon does not have life insurance or critical illness insurance. Family, friends and work colleagues just about scraped the funds together to cover Simon's sisters flights, food, travel too and from the hospital for 6 weeks, and accommodation and although Simon's sister lost her job on return to the states the transplant was a success. Sadly Simon and Sara have just been told that another life saving transplant is needed as soon as possible and getting his sister back over is the only way.

I have known Simon and his family for a long time. Simon and his wife (despite being desperate) would rather i not be doing this. In fact i had to plead with them to let me raise money this way. Sara works, runs the house and looks after the two children. They are also blessed with generous friends, family and work colleagues but with Simon (the main bread winner) not earning for over a year they are now in a desperate state with no light at the end of the tunnel.

I cant imagine my life with out this guy around so i am not even going to try and imagine what the family are going through.
