I'm running the London Marathon for Scout Road Academy, a community primary school that was recently displaced for almost a year following a landslip risk above the school, many of the children (including my daughter) had already been affected from the 2015 Boxing Day floods. Funds raised will go to purchasing IT provisions and playground equipment for the children.

As my daughter, Francesca, goes there and the education system gets squeezed more, I didn't think there was a better cause and you can witness at this level, the massive difference fundraising can make to the children.

As a small registered charity the PTFA have applied for gift aid and as I type I'm unable to claim through the site. If you're kind enough to forward your address however, following any donations, we'll be able to claim 25% retrospectively (assuming you're a UK tax payer). My run is also eligible to secure 25% match funding from work meaning every pound donated becomes £1.50.

All funds raised will be paid directly to Scout Road PTFA
